Goalkeeper Geral Froste, from the Montevideo City Torque under-14 team, linked to Grupo City, died after being shot in the chest, last Wednesday (25), in Uruguay.
According to witnesses, the teenager tried to break up a fight between neighbors when one of the people involved in the confusion pulled out a gun and shot. The shot hit Froste in the chest.

The young man was taken to hospital by his grandfather, but died shortly afterwards. Some residents of the region still tried to contain the shooter and set fire to his house, but the man fled and has not yet been found by the Uruguayan police.
In a statement on social media, Montevideo City Torque lamented the loss. “We deeply regret the passing of Geral Froste, goalkeeper for the club’s under-14 team.”
“We accompany his family, friends and colleagues in this moment of sadness for all of us. Goodbye, General”, concluded the club.
