This Thursday morning (26), the State Government delivered nine vehicles and equipment to assist in carrying out the work of the Military Police and the Acre Fire Department.

In addition to the new vehicles, the result of amendments by senators Alan Rick and Sérgio Petecão, drones, furniture, and electronic equipment were also delivered.
For the Secretary of Public Security, Colonel Américo Gaia, investments are essential to strengthen the security system. “The people who benefit from this are the public security forces that oversee the system. More investments, more deliveries of vehicles, more deliveries of weapons, deliveries of drones, coming both from the Public Security Fund and from parliamentary amendments”, highlighted the secretary.

On that occasion, the Service Order was signed to carry out the Swat Operations Advanced course, aimed at the specialized training of elite forces, a course that was amended by federal deputy Ulysses Guimarães.
Deputy governor Mailza Assis also emphasized the government’s commitment to the area. “Our government has made a lot of investments in hiring equipment, vehicles, weapons, among others. Because of this, we have good results in security control. We have many more projects to implement”, he stated.
During the event, the Public Security Medal of Merit was also awarded to the former Secretary of Public Security of the State, Paulo Cezar Rocha dos Santos, in recognition of his services provided.
