According to the news agency Reutersthe journalists who died in the attack this Thursday (26th December) worked for the television channel Al-Quds Al-Youm. Palestinian media said the vehicle was marked as a press van that was used by journalists to report from the Nuseirat camp and inside the hospital. The Israeli army declared that the vehicle carrying the journalists was attacked by “targeted way”, adding that members of the militant group Islamic Jihad were inside the transport.

The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.”says the IDF statement released this Thursday (Dec 26).

The Prime Minister of Israel, (Likud, right), responded with a statement that “the terrorist organization Hamas continues to lie, is reneging on understandings that have already been reached and continues to create difficulties in negotiations”.
