Do you have mold on the walls at home? We know how to get rid of this discomfort in a natural way.
Mold on the walls is a plague. Especially in the winter, when they mainly “piss off” owners of older apartments and new buildings. “Mold is mainly caused by higher air humidity or insufficient heating,” says the expert, adding that it may not be visible at first glance. “Many people have no idea that they have it in their apartment, but then they are surprised by a strange musty smell. This will force them to search for the source… And in this way, they will eventually find the source of the problem,” adds the expert.

Where there is mold everywhere
You can find areas caught by mold in poorly ventilated areas. “It lives in the corners of the room, near doors or windows… But it often lives behind furniture as well. In short, you push the cabinet away and suddenly you find that the space behind it is covered with ugly mold,” says the expert, adding that most often, mold on the walls takes the form of black smears. “But make no mistake. Mold is aggressive and can also attack other materials such as wood, glass, cardboard, plasterboard or even plastic,” warns the expert.
Surprise behind the furniture
There are many causes of mold. In addition to humidity, it can be caused by many factors. It is a lack of light, too high a temperature in the room, but also low-quality plastic windows. The alpha and omega of mold occurrence is also poorly placed furniture, which is tightly packed against the wall, so that the wall cannot “breathe” enough. The space is steaming and mold is in the world…
Disinfectants
Getting rid of mold is no fun. In addition to determining the cause (when a dehumidifier needs to be installed in the apartment), solve new windows or rearrange the furniture, it is also necessary to put an end to the mold itself. If the area affected by the mold is smaller, you can deal with it simply – using disinfectants that you can buy on the market. Otherwise, you have no choice but to rely on a professional company to eradicate your “enemy”.
Chlorine is unnecessarily smelled
Unfortunately, many disinfectants are chlorine-based, which leaves behind an unpleasant odor that can be irritating. “Unfortunately, it often happens that the mold disappears, but the smell of the product remains and it is very difficult to ventilate,” admits the expert, adding that many people are trying to find a way to get rid of mold naturally. For example, white table vinegar, which has strong antibacterial effects, is effective. And not only that…
Vinegar treatment
White vinegar is an effective odor and bacteria absorber. You can use it to remove mold on walls or other objects. If the occurrence of mold is to a lesser extent, it is enough to dilute vinegar 1:1. Spray more polluted areas with 100% white vinegar, which you pour into a flower sprayer. After the spot dries, scrub it with a brush and apply soapy water. Done!
