Renáta Názlerová (56), a well-known jockey star, qualified as an inspector of Christmas markets. The uncompromising brunette visited illuminated squares in Bratislava, Piešťany and Trnava. “Last year, I desperately searched the Christmas markets for a really good gypsy. And not only in Bratislava, but also in other Slovak cities and towns. And it was despair. And this year I gave it another chance,” she clarified on the social network.
She has not yet found the perfect delicacy. The best rating of 8/10 was earned by the classic market food in the capital. Renáta paid eight euros for a portion. “Excellent soft bun, modest mustard. Onion fried appropriately. Meat well-flavored, but pounded to a thickness of 2 millimeters. And that disappointed me a little. Because my husband had chicken and they indulged in all the meat there,” she described.
She also visited our neighbors’ Christmas markets. Specifically, she headed to the Czech city of Pilsen. She didn’t go home satisfied and without further ado wrote what she didn’t like. “I knew that Czechs don’t know gypsies. I also suspected that the menu would not be good. But I really didn’t expect that in the regional city of Pilsen it would be a live disaster in three acts.” the former Courtroom star began.
Názlerová praised the pleasant atmosphere of the markets and the fact that everything was clearly organized. However, she turned to criticism in one breath. “98% of the stalls offered various craft products, here and there some trdelniks and cured meats. However, what was on offer for eating was a hot dog, baked sausages and a deep-fried potato spiral, which, by the way, cost 50 Czech crowns, which is almost 2 euros.” she wrote indignantly. “So we Slovaks are probably bigger gourmands,” she concluded at the end of the post.
