Summer has long rung and Christmas is just around the corner. This means that when you wake up in the morning, your eyes fall on the condensation of water vapor in the windows. See what to do with it.
Winter is in full swing. It only snowed a few times, but you can wake up every morning to muddy roads, rain and frost. In this weather, one really wants to be in the warmth of home, wrapped under a blanket with hot chocolate in hand and watching a nice Christmas movie. But you also need to ensure that water vapor does not condense overnight. That means only one thing. You have poor air circulation, and this can unfortunately lead to unpleasant molds.

How to prevent moisture
In winter, humidity is difficult to avoid. It is also very understandable. Nobody wants to sleep with an open window to blow cold air into their heated room, right? At the same time, however, ventilation is important for air circulation. As soon as the air in the room does not circulate, the air will condense, which in turn causes mold and so on.
The risk of mold is not only an unsightly obstacle, but it can also be dangerous for you, as the accumulated mold and bacteria release toxic substances that can cause you, for example, respiratory problems.
So how to avoid air condensation? Even if it is unpleasant, the first option is to get used to the ventilation. You don’t even have to ventilate overnight. It is sufficient if you ventilate, for example, an hour and a half before you go to bed. Or get into the habit of opening the window when you are not using the room. Another option is to get a dehumidifier. Although it is not the cheapest investment, it is practical for that.
Air dehumidifier
But if you don’t want to buy a dehumidifier, which makes sense before Christmas, because gifts don’t buy themselves and aren’t cheap, don’t worry. You can also use ordinary salt as an air dehumidifier. It has great absorption effects. It will therefore soak up the moisture from the given room and rid you of it. So all you have to do is take a few small bowls, fill them with salt and place them in rooms where moisture could accumulate.
