Salaries in the universities’ collective agreement increase by 3.8 percent

Vienna – The salaries of the more than 50,000 university employees employed under the university collective agreement will increase by 3.8 percent as of February 1, 2025. The salary figure therefore corresponds to the calculated inflation and is slightly higher than the civil servants’ figure of 3.5 percent. This was announced by the Association of Scientific and Artistic Staff at Austrian Universities (ULV) and the University Teachers’ Association (ULV) on Christmas Day.
