Two people were run over in the early hours of this Thursday (26) on Avenida das Torres, in the Uberaba neighborhood, in Curitiba. One of the victims was thrown approximately 50 meters and died at the scene, and the other was rescued in serious condition and taken to the hospital.
According to a witness, the victims were in the crosswalk and, when trying to avoid the vehicle, they were hit. The impact was strong, according to reports, as one of the two victims who were run over was thrown.

According to Lieutenant Scandelari of the Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran), Avenida das Torres is considered a dangerous avenue and drivers should always remain alert, especially at night, which has low visibility.
Another accident in Paraná leaves dead
An accident involving a truck and a SAMU ambulance left four people dead on BR-476 on Wednesday night (25), Christmas Day, in the city of Paulo Frontin, in the south of Paraná. The victims were in the ambulance and were the driver of the vehicle, the SAMU doctor, a nurse and the patient who was being transported. The collision was recorded around 9pm, at Km 312 of Rodovia do Xisto, close to Curvas do Limoeiro.
