The woman who prepared the cake suspected of causing the deaths of three women, in Torres, Rio Grande do Sul, will be investigated by the Civil Police. The researchers work with the hypothesis that the food was poisoned.
Three people died and two others are hospitalized after eating a cake this Tuesday (24). In total, seven family members were gathered for afternoon coffee, when some began to feel unwell after eating the cake.

According to the investigation, the husband of the woman who made the cake died under similar circumstances in September this year. His body will be exhumed for examination.
The results obtained on the man’s body will be compared with those of the three victims, Maida Berenice Flores da Silva, aged 58, Tatiana Denize Silva dos Santos, aged 43, and another woman whose identity was not revealed.
The food consumed by the family was seized for forensic examination.
