Young altar boy Gabriel Fernando dos Santos Lima, aged 17, was shot dead while sleeping in his own home in Londrina, in the North of Paraná, in the early hours of this Wednesday (25).

According to family reports, the suspect entered the grounds of the house where the young man lived, opened Gabriel’s bedroom window and fired several shots at the victim.
The family called for help, but because of the delay, they took the young catechist to Zona Sul Hospital, however, the victim did not survive and died at the scene. According to the police report, the doctor found four perforations in the abdomen, right leg, left and right thigh.
Gabriel participated in the youth group at the church he attended, was a photographer at the institution and a catechist.
At the time of this report, there is no information about the wake and burial of the altar boy who was shot dead.
