Sandwiches are among our most frequently eaten dishes. Sometimes we reach for them several times a day – for breakfast, at work, for dinner. There is nothing wrong with it as long as the base is good quality bread and the additions include fresh vegetables. However, it must be admitted that a diet based on ham or cheese sandwiches is quite monotonous. It is easy to enrich it by preparation homemade sandwich belts. Such an addition to bread can be not only full of flavor, but also full of ingredients valuable for health. At the same time, it allows you to use products lying in the fridge. For example, mbroth meat. A piece of cooked chicken can be delicious sandwich spread with nuts, cucumber and parmesan.
You can serve the finished paste on sofas or spread it on wraps. It’s also perfect for making mini sandwiches for a house party or New Year’s Eve party.
Ingredients:
- 250 g of cooked chicken meat,
- 2 tablespoons of finely grated Parmesan cheese,
- 100 g walnuts,
- 1 pickled cucumber,
- 1 tablespoon of chopped dill,
- 4 tablespoons of natural yogurt,
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise,
- salt, pepper, hot pepper (to taste).
Pre-shred the chicken meat and most of the nuts. Place both ingredients in a blender along with the yogurt. Blend until quite smooth.
Chop the rest of the nuts (so that you can feel their pieces in the paste). Also chop the cucumber finely.
Combine the meat and nut mass with chopped nuts and cucumber. Add parmesan, dill and mayonnaise. Mix into a uniform paste. Season with hot pepper powder, pepper and salt. Place in the fridge for at least half an hour to let the flavors mingle.
