Proud of her city, libero Camila Brait, Olympic medalist for the Brazilian volleyball team, received a tribute with a monument of Olympic hoops. Made by the City of Sacramento, the sculpture has a message of gratitude to the athlete.
With around 27 thousand inhabitants, the city in the interior of Minas Gerais was the stage for the beginning of Camila’s career, and now has the “Olympic Rings” monument to immortalize the player.

Represented by União Recreativa Sacramentana, the libero played for the Brazilian team, winning four Grand Prix, one World Cup and one World Cup, in addition to defending Sesi-Uberlândia, Praia Clube, São Caetano and Osasco, the athlete’s current team.
Camila, her family and municipal authorities went to the inauguration of the hoops, where she commented on the gratitude she feels for the recognition, and remembered the technician who revealed it, Bethânia Melo.
“It represents a lot of things, I’m very flattered. It’s a feeling of gratitude that I have, not only for Bethânia, but for all the Sacramentans (…) I’m happy to know that I inspire so many girls who are just starting out, who love volleyball and sports in general”, he commented.
