Request to review the long-term steps of Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) in relation to the attitude towards Russiafiled by the civil association (OZ) Peace of Ukraine, will be processed by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Slovak Republic in accordance with the law. This was stated for TASR by its spokeswoman Jana Tökölyová.
“The subject initiative of the civil association was delivered to the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Slovak Republic. It will be equipped in accordance with the law,” declared Tökölyová.
According to the association, the Prime Minister for a long time legitimizes Russian President Vladimir Putin, for whom an international arrest warrant has been issued. At the same time, Slovakia is considered an enemy country by the Russian Federation. According to OZ representatives, Fico met the enemy.
The Slovak Prime Minister met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Sunday (December 22). They talked about the military situation in Ukraine, the possibilities of a peaceful solution, as well as bilateral relations between Slovakia and Russia, which Fico wants to standardize.
