“The criticism by governors Caiado and Cláudio Castro against the decree that regulates the use of force by police officers is pure demagogy. And Castro should be concerned about the growth of militias in Rio de Janeiro”, says Mariano.

For Mariano, the case only reinforces the need to regulate the use of police force.
“It is an absurd, disastrous occurrence that culminated with a young woman in serious condition due to gunshots. If there is no change of stance in the PRF, it will be the first police institution to discredit the very important decree of the President of the Republic”, he stated .
