IV President Knill: EU deficit procedure would be tantamount to self-sacrifice

Vienna – The President of the Industrial Association (IV) Georg Knill would like to see much more speed in forming a government and is vehemently against entering into an EU deficit procedure. “That would be like giving yourself up,” says Knill in the APA interview, especially in the direction of the SPÖ – but also the ÖVP and NEOS. Overall, he doesn’t care about “plays of color” as long as it is recognized that there is a fire on the roof of the location and that it is being brought back into shape. There should be clarity by the beginning of January at the latest.
