Singer interrupted the presentation that started the New Year’s Eve program to ask the photographers to leave
Roberto Carlos, 83 years old, got angry at the beginning of his performance in Recife on Thursday night (Dec 26). The event was held at Praia do Pina, south of the capital of Pernambuco, bringing together around 200,000 fans to kick off the 2025 New Year’s Eve festivities.
The singer threatened to interrupt the show due to an uncomfortable situation with people in front of the stage. The episode was shared on social media by fans present. According to people in the audience, the controversy arose when a photographer blocked the view of part of the public and disturbed the artist.

Roberto Carlos outraged in Recife. Photographers could only take photos during the first and last songs, but during the show a lot of people started to stay in the table area, in front of the stage.

“Can you vacate that place, stop squeezing in front of the stage, please? Please get out of there, otherwise I won’t continue this show.”said Roberto Carlos. After his intervention, the show continued without further interruptions for almost two hours.
