“As we were getting ready to board our flight from Sana’a, about two hours ago, the airport came under air attack. A crew member of our plane was injured. At least two people were killed at the airport. The air traffic control tower, the departure hall – just a few meters from where we were – and the runway were damaged,” the WHO Director-General said.

Mr. Ghebreyesus said he and his colleagues were safe and offered his condolences to the families of those who died.
Israel’s attack on Yemen
Israeli officials said they hit multiple targets including Sana’a International Airport and three ports along the west coast.
Local news agency Al Masirah TV, which is run by the Houthis, reported that two people were killed at the airport, while another was killed in raids at the port. He added that eleven others were injured in the attacks.
