Czech actor and presenter Pavel Trávníček (73) became widely known thanks to his role as the prince in the unforgettable movie fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella (1973).which is one of the gems of Czech and Slovak cinematography. He portrayed a similar type of characters in the fairy tales I bow to the moon (1991), About happiness and beauty (1985) or The third prince (1982).
Pavel Trávníček was born on October 26, 1950 in the Czech village of Konice. After studying at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno, he worked on the stage of the Mrštík Brothers Theater there (today’s Municipal Theater Brno). Later he played on the boards of the EF Buriana Theater and from 1982 in the Municipal Theaters of Prague.
