The body of a five-month-old baby was found in a bag by two recyclable collectors in the early hours of Saturday (28), in Campo Largo, Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (RMC).
The two men were walking along Avenida das Torres, in the Jardim Rivabem neighborhood, when they noticed a bag left in the middle of the bush.
The recyclable collectors decided to check the package, hoping to find money, but when they opened the bag, the baby’s body fell to the ground.

“We got ahead. My brother-in-law and I saw the bag. When we opened it we saw the head. When we shook the bag, the baby’s body fell to the floor. Then we called the police. Who wouldn’t be scared? As a father, I was shocked, I never imagined seeing something like that”, explained one of the collectors.
The Municipal Guard was called and identified that the body was that of a male baby, although, at the time of writing this article, there is no information on the identity of the victim.
“Even when I turned the bag over, then I really saw that it was a little body, I didn’t even know what to do. I already went out shouting to the neighbors, asking to call the police, shouting for help, that there was a dead child there. Then, at the end, they were sent there, and then I found out it was a little boy,” said the other collector.
The baby’s body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Campo Largo and the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR) will be responsible for investigating the case.
