Attacking midfielder Thaciano is already packed to leave Bahia for Santos. The São Paulo club ordered the purchase of the athlete for 4.7 million euros – the equivalent of R$30.3 million, at the current price. Part of this amount will be deducted from the installments that Peixe still has to receive from Bahia from the transfer of Jean Lucas, who had his pass acquired by Esquadrão in January this year, for 4.5 million euros (around R$24 million at the time ). The information comes from journalist Elton Serra.
Thaciano had been at Bahia since March 2023. In 2024, he entered the field 60 times for Tricolor and scored 15 goals, becoming Bahia’s top scorer of the season. He was also responsible for providing five assists.
This is not the first time that the attacking midfielder will wear the black and white shirt. Thaciano, who is 29 years old, made his first spell at the Santos club in 2016. Graduated from Porto-PE, where he began his professional career, in 2013, he also has spells at Boa Esporte (2015 and 2017) and Grêmio (2017 -2019).

Thaciano’s career at Bahia began in 2021, when the tricolor signed the athlete, who belonged to Grêmio, on loan. At the end of the contract, he left the Bahian capital and was loaned to Turkish club Altayspor. He returned to the Rio Grande do Sul tricolor in 2022 and was bought by Bahia the following year, for €300,000.
Now, Santos is waiting for Bahia to sign the purchase documentation to make the agreement official. At the São Paulo club, he will receive around R$1 million in salary, according to Elton Serra. The value is higher than what Bahia currently paid.
