This recipe is not too difficult, and the taste of the prepared dish rewards all the effort. To prepare lumberjack salads you will need:
- 1 red pepper,
- 1 teaspoon of dried garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of gyros spice,
- 100g majonezu,
- 150 g of wheat bread,
- 160 g smoked bacon,
- 2 chicken breast fillets,
- 200 g grated cheddar cheese,
- 30 g mustard,
- 300 g of natural yogurt,
- 4 pickled cucumbers,
- 400 g of iceberg lettuce,
- 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 6 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 60 g ketchupu,
- half a cup of chopped chives,
- half a glass of cucumber water.
It is best to use toasted bread, but you can also use plain wheat bread or even buy ready-made… croutons.

Start by preparing the meat. Cut the chicken fillets into cubesput it in a bowl, add gyros spice and vegetable oil and mix everything. Place in a heated pan and fry until the chicken is browned. Place the fried chicken in a bowl. Cut the bacon into cubes and fry until crispy in the same pan. Line a baking tray with paper and place the cubed bread on it. Sprinkle with dried garlicpour olive oil, mix and put in an oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Prepare the sauce: mix mayonnaise, mustard, natural yogurt, ketchup and cucumber water in a bowl. Place half of the chopped iceberg lettuce into a large bowladd cheddar cheese and cover with half of the sauce. Then add a second layer of chicken, peppers, cucumber and the rest of the lettuce. Pour the rest of the sauce over it and sprinkle with bacon, croutons and chives. The lumberjack salad for the party is ready!
