One of the biggest television hits of 2023, “In the Jury’s Crosshairs” mixed reality and fiction, mocking the structures of a documentary to create humor around a trial taking place in the United States. Prime Video’s production was nominated for four Emmy awards.
the question arises of how to extend the series for more seasons. Nominated for an Emmy for his performance, he commented on the series in an interview with CNN.
“Good question,” he responds when asked about a new season of the series. “I don’t know how to answer, because that could end up ruining everything.” “I believe it will happen“, he concludes, without making definitive statements.
The plot of “Na Mira do Júri” takes place from the juror’s perspective Ronald Gladdenwhich has a solar energy company in San Diego, California. The whole story is staged and planned, and only he doesn’t know that his summons to the jury was fake and that everyone around him was acting the whole time.
In total, there are eight episodes that are between 25 and 30 minutes each and can be marathoned in an afternoon. The cast also includes Mekki Leeper, Cassandra Blair and Maria Russell.
