Internacional can count on a player well known to the fans. Leandro Damião, center forward, would be interested in returning to Colorado and retiring from the team.
According to “GE”, the player was talking to president Alessandro Barcellos and showed his desire to return to Inter.

Leandro Damião negotiating with Inter?
The center forward has not played since July, when he left Coritiba. At the age of 35, he demonstrated his desire to retire in Colorado. Leandro Damião would have been approached by other clubs, but Internacional would be his priority.
This would be his third spell at the club. In an interview with “GE”, he made this desire explicit.
– My only desire today is Inter. I try not to even listen to the other proposals I had. I even spoke to the president. My desire is to return to Inter – he said.
However, there is still no information about official proposals. At Inter, he accumulated good numbers during his spells.
Damião arrived at Inter in 2009, coming from Atlético de Ibirama, and was promoted to the professional ranks in 2010, the year in which he scored in the Libertadores final against Chivas, helping them win the title. In 2011, he had his best season, with 40 goals and 6 assists in 51 games.
He was called up to the national team, where he was top scorer at the London Olympics in 2012, with 6 goals, winning the silver medal.
In 2013, it was sold to Doyyen Sports. He played for teams like Cruzeiro, Betis and Flamengo, returning to Inter in 2017. In 2018, he still played, but moved to Kawasaki Frontale, in Japan.
Who did Inter sign for 2025?
So far, Inter has not announced any reinforcements for 2025. The club must make specific signings, as it sees quality in the current squad, especially after the recovery in the Brazilian Championship.

- Erick: 27-year-old Athletico midfielder is of interest to Inter. Negotiations may be facilitated by the relegation of the club from Paraná.
- Canobbio: Athletico striker is another one who could leave the club after relegation to Serie B. Inter would be one of those interested in him.
- Luizão: Brazilian defender who plays for West Ham, in England, received an inquiry from Inter.
- Jemmes: 24-year-old defender, who plays for Vila Nova-GO, is another Colorado alternative for the defense
- Bernabei: The team from Rio Grande do Sul has until December 31st to definitively sign the full-back. Inter wants to buy the defender from Celtic, from Scotland.
