The motorcycle driver was declared dead at the scene by the Barreiro Hospital Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle, and the body was transported to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Lisbon.
A man died this Saturday in a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in the municipality of Palmela, district of Setúbal.
The collision occurred on Estrada Nacional 10, in the town of Algeruz-Gare, at around 2:20 pm.
The accident resulted in “one death and one injured person who refused transport to the hospital,” said a Civil Protection source.
According to the same source, the “death of the motorcycle driver was declared at the scene” by the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER) from Hospital do Barreiro, and the body was transported to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Lisbon.
Traffic was restricted on one of the roads, towards Marateca – Setúbal, due to relief work, and was restored at 3:59 pm.
