Teenager dies after accident caused by driver without driver's license in Londrina

A 17-year-old teenager died after a collision between a utility vehicle and the motorcycle she was riding. The accident was caused by a 12-year-old driver and occurred on Friday night (27), in Londrina, North of Paraná.

The 12-year-old driver allegedly took his grandfather’s Fiat Fiorino vehicle without authorization and at high speed collided with the motorcycle the teenager was on, in addition to hitting a lamp post.

The accident was recorded on the corner of Francisca Vieira da Costa and José Paiva Cavalcante streets, in Conjunto Lindoia.

The driver of the motorcycle suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of Londrina for medical treatment.

Agents from the Military Police of Paraná (PM-PR) went to the scene and stated that the 12-year-old driver did not provide assistance to the victims.

The teenage driver of Fiorino was taken by the police to the Londrina Police Station with his legal guardian.
