The series “Minha Estupidez”, created and starring by actress and writer Fernanda Torres, will be shown weekly on TV Brasil starting this Saturday (28), at 7:30 pm.
With five episodes, the program mixes interviews and sketches written by the presenter herself, who is competing in 2025 for the Golden Globe for Best Actress for “I’m Still Here”.
In “Minha Estupidez”, a 2016 series, he talks to personalities from different fields of knowledge about subjects he does not master, such as literature, philosophy, ethics, anthropology, arts, sociology and general culture. The chats are guided by themes taken from books.
Directed by Mini Kerti, the series features humorous sketches that feature guest actors. The premiere episode pays homage to one of the great Brazilian writers of the 20th century, João Ubaldo Ribeiro. In the sketch, actor Evandro Mesquita plays the cannibal from the book “Viva o Povo Brasileiro”, by the Bahian author, while Fernanda Torres plays a reporter.
“Minha Estupidez” also features, in the following editions, conversations with the agronomist and scientist Antonio Nobre, the anthropologist Manuela Carneiro da Cunha, the minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Cármen Lúcia and the singer and composer.
