Striker Paulo Baya, 25 years old, was signed by Fluminense from Primavera (SP). The reinforcement signed a loan agreement with an option to purchase until the end of 2025.

Who is Paulo Baya
Born in Marabá, Pará, Paulo Baya has spent time in the youth teams at Cascavel, a club that became professional in 2020. In his first season with the main team, he scored 10 goals in 27 matches and caught the attention of Ventforet Kofu, from Japan.
Loaned to the Asian club, Baya made just seven appearances and one goal. Upon returning to Brazil, he was loaned again, this time to Brusque, a club that played 17 games in 2022.
Primavera, from Indaiatuba, which competes in the second division of São Paulo, acquired the player in 2023. For the São Paulo club, he scored three goals in 11 games.
With no guaranteed schedule, Primavera loaned Baya on two occasions. First, for Ponte Preta, where he played 24 games and scored two goals.
Loaned to Goiás, Paulo Baya stood out with 19 goals and six assists in 52 games. He was runner-up in the Goiano Championship in 2024 and the team’s top scorer. Goiás is still trying to renew the player, but negotiations have made no progress.
The player’s characteristics are dribbling and speed. Right-handed, Baya plays as a left winger or attacking midfielder.
