A fire hit a restaurant in the historic center of Coimbra this Sunday, causing at least one injury.
Authorities were alerted shortly before 8:30 am to a fire on Rua da Sota, in the city centre.
According to the newspaper, one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Church of São Bartolomeu, the Hotel Astória and the Banco de Portugal branch are some of the nearby buildings with recognized historical and architectural value.
The fire was being fought by operatives from the Firefighters Sapadores and Volunteers of Coimbra, Volunteers of Brasfemes and Mealhada, with members of the PSP also on site.
