Croatia’s head of state Zoran Milanović ran on Sunday to be elected as President of Croatia for another five years. His chances are extremely good. In the last Ipsos poll, Milanović was at 37 percent, his challenger Dragan Primorac at around 20 percent. Milanović, who is supported by the Social Democratic Party, has repeatedly caused a stir in recent years with his populist and abusive comments. The ongoing dispute between the conservative Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Milanović also has entertainment value.
