According to an analysis by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the future of the Mattighofen-based motorcycle manufacturer KTM AG is looking quite good, at least as far as the positioning of the insolvent group on the market is concerned. BCG prepared an analysis of the market and marketability of KTM on behalf of the group and made this available to the restructuring administrator Peter Vogl. Its current report to the insolvency court shows that, according to this analysis, the KTM Group’s core markets are expected to experience annual growth of more than ten percent. The off-road segment, in which KTM is the “undisputed market leader” with a market share of between 40 and 60 percent, will record stable growth rates of around 3.5 percent in the next few years.
