After almost two decades of successful work, the popular presenter has decided to end her work at TV Markíza, the television reports on its website. Miriam Kalisová (39) sa decided to devote herself fully to her own projects, from January 2025 she will be replaced in the moderator’s chair by Lenka Vavrinčíková.
“After 18 years, it’s time to move on. I perceive this step as a symbolic ending of an important life stage, similar to when a person reaches adulthood and flies out of the native nest. I will always be extremely grateful to Marquise for the chance she gave me. As a 21-year-old student of sociology, I had the honor of sitting in the chair of the most watched show in Slovakia,” she told TV Markíza.
“Those 18 years brought me a lot of experience, unforgettable moments and valuable relationships. But now it’s time to focus on your own projects and be the mistress of your time – because time is the most precious thing we have. It is important to carefully consider where we invest it,” Kalisová added.
