Rio de Janeiro – Three people died in Brazil from a Christmas cake laced with arsenic. According to media reports over the weekend, the three women had eaten the cake at a family Christmas celebration in Torres in the south of the country. The woman who baked the cake and a ten-year-old girl were treated in hospital with symptoms of poisoning.
