Each variety has a unique flavor profile, resulting from the region of cultivation, roasting method and degree of acidity. Combining them in one place leads to the interpenetration of aromas, which in turn deprives the coffee of its individual character. For example, delicate floral notes may be drowned out by more intense, earthy flavors.
