A 25-year-old woman died this Saturday (28) after being attacked with a knife in the residence where she lived, in Guarapuava, in the central region of Paraná. Francieli Pacheco dos Santos was sleeping next to her 5-year-old daughter when she was surprised by the attacks. With serious injuries to her neck, the young woman was taken to an Emergency Care Unit (UPA), but did not survive.
According to preliminary information, the main suspect of committing the crime is Francieli’s ex-husband. The man allegedly stole a copy of the residence keys this week, after the couple ended their relationship. Acquaintances of the victim reported that the ex did not accept the breakup and had already made threats.

The case happened this Saturday morning (28), in the Industrial neighborhood, in Guarapuava, and the child who was also in bed was not injured. Francieli’s body is laid to rest in the Jardim da Paz Municipal Mortuary Chapel and the burial is scheduled for 3pm this Sunday (29). The woman leaves behind a 5-year-old daughter, the result of her relationship with the main suspect in the crime.
The Paraná Military Police carried out searches in the region, however, the suspect was not located until the publication of this article. The case is investigated by the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR).
