A drunk driver crashed into a telecommunications pole: Terrible, how much he inflated!

During the weekend, Šalian policemen investigated a traffic accident that happened on road III/1349 in the village of Diakovce. The driver of the Audi A4 apparently did not adjust the driving speed to his abilities, the characteristics of the vehicle and the nature of the road, as a result of which he skidded, the regional police headquarters in Nitra informed. The 28-year-old driver crashed his car into a telecommunications pole. During the breathalyzer test, he was measured at 3.25 per thousand of alcohol.

An 18-year-old driver in Zlaté Moravce also drove under the influence of alcohol during the weekend. Officers spotted a Peugeot 308 driving sideways on the road during a night shift. A breathalyzer test confirmed the driver had 1.67 per thousand.

During the weekend, the police in the Nitra region also detained two more drunk drivers. The 48-year-old driver of the Seat Altea blew 1.92 per thousand, the 20-year-old driver of the BMW 1.65 per thousand. All the drivers ended up in a police cell and were charged with endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance.
