After checking the surrounding area, one of the bomb squad agents, wearing special clothing that weighs more than 30kg, placed a type of scanner on the side of the suitcase and walked away. After the first investigations, the agent put a cable in the suitcase and dragged the object to the middle of the street, moving it away from the police base.

The agents forced the suitcase to explode at 1:59 pm and did not find any explosives inside, but only a blanket and clothes, which belonged to a homeless person who lives in the region. Despite the false alarm, the incident mobilized dozens of agents and changed traffic in the region.
