Most parties will maintain commanders this year; PT is the only big one to make changes
Almost all parties will maintain their presidents in 2025. The PT is the only major party that begins the year with the prospect of significant changes. The president’s acronym elections in July.
The biggest favorite to replace (PT-PR) is (PT-SP), former mayor of Araraquara and former minister of Secom (Secretariat of Social Communication) of (PT). Edinho is Lula’s ally, but a setback when he was unable to elect his successor in his city.
Edinho must face the current leader of the Government in the Chamber, (PT-CE).
Other parties will hold elections this year, such as the PSB and PSDB, currently led by Carlos Siqueira and , respectively.
Siqueira has led the PSB since 2014. His mandate runs until May, when the party’s congress should be held. The tucano election should be held at the end of the year.
FORMER CACIQUES
There are a considerable number of parties with little or no turnover in their presidents. This is the case of (PL), (PSD), (PP) and (DC).
Valdemar and Kassab do not occupy their positions in a bureaucratic manner, they are big bosses, with a concentration of power. Kassab has headed the PSD since its foundation in 2011.
Ciro Nogueira, although not a founder, acronym since 2013. He left his post temporarily to become minister of the former president (PL).
