This is creating a “problem” for those who signed up to the fixed rate in 2022 and 2023, when benefits have reached an unsustainable peak. By fixing the rate, they managed to prevent the installments from continuing to rise. But now that they are going down, they are “locked in” to a much higher performance than those who stayed on the variable rate. Can they do anything?
