Influencer Isabel Veloso gave birth to Arthur, this Sunday afternoon (29), after having to bring forward the birth due to complications from her cancer treatment. The information was shared by the young woman’s husband, Lucas Borbas, who announced the birth of his son on his social networks.
In a series of publications, Lucas showed the final preparations for the birth and then a photo next to Isabel, after Arthur’s birth. “I am a father,” says Lucas’ Instagram post.

Isabel, who was 32 weeks pregnant, had an early birth after discovering that the cancer was spreading to her lungs, which would prevent her from carrying the baby. “Mommy here is not well. I am unable to carry the pregnancy to term, due to the chemotherapy that had no effect and the cancer ended up spreading to the lungs”, explained Isabel Veloso in a recent publication.
The influencer was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in January 2021 and is currently in palliative care. The couple did not disclose further details about the health status of their son, who is expected to need specific care as he was born prematurely.
