The current president of the City Council of , Milton Leite (União Brasil), is setting up a political advisory group to assist his successor in the post and also the other members of the future Board of Directors of the House.
The most likely thing is that the person elected on January 1st will be councilor Ricardo Teixeira (União), chosen by Leite and supported by the mayor’s base parties ().
One of the members of this council has already been announced: the influencer, who defines himself as an anarcho-capitalist and was hired as an advisor to the presidency of the House. The idea is for two other advisors to be appointed, one from the center and the other from the center-left.
According to Leite, the objective of this group will be to help “see the thinking of this new plenary with breadth”.
One of the main changes in the composition of the new Chamber legislature was the election of several people, known for their conservative positions and exalted speeches on social media, such as Lucas Pavanato (PL), Adrilles Jorge (União Brasil) and Sergeant Nantes (PP).
