In recent days, the testimony of a North Korean soldier killed in combat on Russian soil has come to light. Hong Jong’s diary revealed by Ukrainian soldiers includes testimonies, military lessons and even drawings that explain how to proceed and think.
“I grew up in a blessed group, I studied to the point of exhaustion without worrying about anything in this world,” is one of the first excerpts from the notes. “There is more unknown love than known and accepted,” he said. “I didn’t know how to react to the happiness that surrounded me”he continued in a much more spiritual tone.
But without a doubt, the most striking part is the one referring to the supreme leader and his country: “How to defend the country is a sacred duty of the citizen and The greatest duty is to defend the country, which is the source of all my happiness, I put on the military uniform of the revolution to protect the Supreme Commander,” he wrote.
In addition, he recorded what happened to him years ago when he betrayed his own party since “I committed thankless acts against the Supreme Commander.” “The sins I have committed are unforgivable, but my country has given me a path to be reborn.for a new start in life,” he continued. “Now I have no choice but to repay the trust they gave me. I will be on the front line of this operation”.
Finally, he referred directly to Kim Jong-Un: “I will unconditionally carry out the orders of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, even if it costs me my life,” continuous. “I will show the whole world the invincible courage and sacrifice of Kim Jong Un’s Red Special Forces (Red Commanders). When we win the war and return to our homeland, I will present a petition to the party,” he concluded.
