The traditional São Silvestre race will be held this Tuesday (12/31) in São Paulo. The organization of the event will reward the best runners in the race, which has a record number of entries for the 99th edition.

How many participants do São Silvestre 2024 have?
In total, 37,500 people signed up for the São Silvestre Race. This is the highest number ever recorded in all editions of the test. In total, there are participants from more than 40 countries, from all continents.
According to Vega Sports, the city of São Paulo has the largest number of registrants, followed by Rio de Janeiro, Guarulhos, Campinas, Santo André, Curitiba, Brasília and Belo Horizonte.
Among international participants, the largest group comes from the United States, followed by Germany, Canada, Colombia and Portugal.
What is the prize for São Silvestre 2024?
The 99th edition of São Silvestre had 7.5 thousand registrants, a record number for the event. The top six in the male and female categories will receive prizes. The winners of the men’s and women’s events will receive the same prize: R$59,732, almost R$2,800 more than last year’s event, which cost the winner R$56,975.00.
