Delivery drivers and workers in Goiás were involved in a series of curious incidents during the year
The year 2024 was marked by a series of events, whether in politics or in the world of celebrities, but many things happened among the population, ordinary people, residents and workers, especially the people of Goiás.
This included app drivers and delivery people, who marked the past period with a series of curious stories, whether negative, positive or even somewhat comical.

An app driver in Anápolis had an unusual experience when taking a car in October. Initially, he believed he had entered a dangerous situation, as the ride had been requested for a risky neighborhood and, upon arriving at the location, he found two men in the place of the expected passenger – who appeared on the app.
Fearing for his safety, the worker confronted the passengers, who explained that they were a couple just looking for fun at the motel. The story, shared on the profile of influencer Lucas Dias, earned praise for the driver, who, despite the scare, received a larger payment than expected, totaling R$70.

Santa Genoveva International Airport, in Goiânia, was the scene of one. The incident occurred at the end of October and was caused by a passenger dispute at the location.
Images recorded by an amateur cameraman were published on social media, showing the confusion, in which, in addition to physical attacks, there was also an attack on the vehicles of professionals from the “rival class”, at the entrance to the terminal. One of those involved, aged 35, suffered serious injuries, including pain in the chest and neck, as well as head trauma, and was treated by the Fire Department.

In Goiânia, an app driver innovated, investing around R$50,000 in modifications. The initiative, which included headlights, wheels, steering wheel and even a sunroof characteristic of the most sophisticated model, was shared in a video on the profile by influencer Lucas Dias.
In the record, the influencer highlighted the similarity with the Jetta and the exclusive characteristics of the vehicle. The driver explained that, in addition to the aesthetic changes, the car received advanced technologies, such as Lane Assist, lane assistant and autonomous braking, making it even more impressive.

In Goiânia, a worker who uses a motorcycle for transportation recorded an unusual passenger during the race, in November. The case was shared in a video on social media, showing the moment the passenger gets on the motorcycle carrying a guitar, just like any other day.
However, during the journey, the pillion started, surprising the driver. The unusual scene caught the attention of another motorcyclist who, as he passed along the street, asked the singer to play a song.

Also in November, an app delivery person reported the theft of his motorcycle while waiting to pick up an order at Burger King on Avenida São Francisco, in Anápolis. He had parked the motorcycle at the location, leaving the key in the ignition as he considered the procedure quick.
However, due to the delay in the order, he had to wait almost an hour and, when he returned, . Frightened, the worker asked for help and managed to call the Military Police (PM), who attended, checked the security cameras and forwarded the images to the Civil Police (PC).

Finally, at the end of December, an app driver went viral in Goiânia, when he adopted an unusual strategy to deal with passenger questions during races. In conversations, the worker answers common questions, but in a creative way, ‘lying’ and changing the origin of each question, claiming to be from Pará, Paraíba or Maranhão, depending on the situation.
In a moment that surprised internet users, he responded to a passenger that, in addition to being a driver, . When the client asked if he was a programmer, the negative answer implied another meaning, eliciting laughter.
