An unusual episode occurred at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, in the United States, last Sunday, when a woman opened the emergency window of a plane and climbed out onto the wing of the aircraft shortly after landing.
According to ABC 15 News, the passenger, described as “anxious”, remained seated on the wing until authorities arrived. Perry Cooper, director of media relations at the airport, revealed that firefighters intervened quickly, helping the woman get off the wing using a ramp. The passenger was subsequently taken to hospital for assessment, under the guidance of the airport’s crisis management team.
