Argentina issues arrest warrant for Nicaragua’s head of state

Buenos Aires – An Argentine judge has ordered the arrest of the country’s head of state Daniel Ortega and his wife Rosario Murillo because of “systematic human rights violations” in Nicaragua. Federal judge Ariel Lijo has issued an international arrest warrant against Ortega and Murillo, the lawyer who requested it, Darío Richarte, said on Monday.
