In Aveiro, Rossio will be the epicenter of New Year’s celebrations, with fireworks, a multimedia show and music provided by several DJs.
A few hours before midnight, the preparations are almost completed. Barriers are being installed, and the sound system is being adjusted to receive thousands of people in the city center. The party starts at 9:45 pm, next to the Art Nouveau Museum, with music played by DJs.
At midnight, the sky of Aveiro will be lit up by 10 minutes of fireworks, complemented by a multimedia show.
The demand for restaurants and hotels reflects high expectations: many establishments are already full, and the hotel sector in the city center is practically sold out.
City Hall expects to gather around 80,000 people in the city center to celebrate the entry into 2025. Due to traffic blockages, from 9pm onwards authorities recommend the use of peripheral areas for parking and walking to the event location.
