TF1’s flagship show for several years, Large families: life in XXL transformed its participants into real celebrities of the small screen. This daily program from the first channel immerses viewers in the daily lives of extraordinary families, with at least five children. Among the most remarkable families in terms of birth rate, the Gonzalez family particularly stands out. Mélanie Gonzalez and her husband are at the head of an impressive tribe of 8 children. Indeed, Mélanie Gonzalez’s ninth child finally chose to show up.
Suffering from a heart problem, more precisely a malformation of the aorta artery, is forced to take lifelong treatment. However, the latter was recently forced to undertake a battery of examinations. “Don’t worry, everything is fine! I am doing tests following my malformation that I have in my aorta artery and following my extrasystoles. They are still there. Even under treatment, I still have them. So the next step will be the MRI in January and then we will see what happens next.” she reassured her fans on Instagram. Words which are intended to be rather reassuring despite the fact that the mother can no longer breastfeed her youngest child due to a new treatment.

It must be said that in addition to this worrying situation, the mother of nine children confided that she felt guilty at the idea of stopping breastfeeding her baby. “As luck would have it, Calypso got sick when I started to stop breastfeeding. Calypso is a really adorable baby. She’s so cute, she doesn’t say anything”she detailed. She also concluded with some sadness: “Emotionally, it was quite complicated and on top of that, it’s a last baby, last breastfeeding, but hey I would have been lucky to have breastfed all the children”. A comfort for this devoted mother!
