Japan celebrated the arrival of 2025 with the projection of several messages of peace and love that welcomed the new year, accompanied by a fireworks display.
The countdown and messages for the coming year were projected onto the two-tower Tokyo Metropolitan Government building.
With a population of over 13 million people, the city celebrates with a traditional event attended by thousands of Japanese and tourists, who watch shows and participate in activities.
Among those designed, it was possible to read wishes of love and prosperity in English, as well as other messages in Japanese. Images of national symbols such as Mount Fuji and a drawing of a dragon were also broadcast.
