Another return, another goal, another chance. Neymar returned to the field after another period away due to injury, and scored a goal in a friendly against Al-Hilal last Monday (30).
In the duel against Al Fayha, Al-Hilal won 2-0, with a goal from Neymar and another from Malcom, who also provided the assist for the Brazilian. The match was a pre-season friendly, and marked another comeback.
Neymar has been away successively since October last year, when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee. At the time, he had surgery and spent more than a year without playing.
About two months ago, he returned to the field, and in the second match, he felt a tear in his left hamstring. More time away from games, and the return only this Monday.
Amidst so many injuries, the star became a doubt at Al-Hilal, the club with which he has a contract until June 2025. However, it is likely that the team will release him in the transfer window at the beginning of this year, unless unless they intend to take him to the Club World Cup in June.
