It expanded the list of tax benefits that companies are required to declare to the tax authorities through the so-called Dirbi (Declaration of Incentives, Renunciations, Benefits and Immunities of a Tax Nature).

In its origins, Dirbi required a declaration of values ​​relating to . At the beginning of September, the list was expanded to 43 benefits. Now, the declaration will be mandatory for 88 categories of resignations, according to normative instructions published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Monday (30).

Among the incentives that entered the mandatory declaration list are the exemption of items from the basic food basket, as well as those intended for air or road transport of passengers and goods produced in the Manaus Free Trade Zone.

Companies will need to provide information on incentives enjoyed since January this year. The deadline to submit or rectify the declaration for the 12 months of 2024 ends on March 20, 2025.
